At this Barrington location, the Barrington Pain and Spine Institute is our own ambulatory surgical center, we treat persistent pain conditions that can affect a person’s overall quality of life. Our team includes board-certified anesthesiologists with subspecialties in pain medicine. Our support staff are also dedicated to bringing you the latest and most innovative therapies for pain relief. As the largest Chicago pain management center, we use a multidisciplinary approach to treating chronic pain.
Each patient in our practice first receives an assessment and evaluation. Once we diagnose the underlying cause of your pain, we work with you to develop a comprehensive treatment plan that is implemented with your input and considerations. Your treating physician will use the best technologies and treatments to alleviate your pain and improve your mobility. In addition, we encourage physical therapy and exercise so you can regain full range of motion to your spine and extremities.
The Illinois Pain & Spine Institute’s Barrington site treats a range of medical conditions, injuries, and illnesses that can lead to chronic pain. Examples of these disorders include degenerative scoliosis, spinal stenosis, facet joint syndrome, and osteoarthritis. We use injections and other minimally invasive procedures to partially destroy the irritated or affected nerves that cause your chronic pain condition.
Pain medication is a small part of our treatment plan for you. Our goal is to reduce your dependence on medicines by treating the cause of your pain, rather than the symptoms. When you come to the Barrington clinic, our staff will assess your condition and work together, with you and your family, to get you to the highest functional status possible. We urge you to call and make an appointment today!
