Medical Assistant

Requirements:

  • Prior medical assisting training or at least 1 year in the healthcare/medical assisting field
  • Candidate must be high energy, enthusiastic
  • Must love helping patients
  • Be willing to travel
  • Have a reliable mode of transportation
  • Week night availability as well as alternating weekends
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus

The Illinois Pain Institute has locations requiring Medical Assistants in the following regions: Itasca, Barrington, Elgin, McHenry, Huntley, & Libertyville.


Surgical Technician

An operating room Surgical Technician is needed for our Ambulatory Surgery Center located in Barrington.

Requirements:

  • Previous training or at least 2 years in spine surgery preferred
  • Candidate must be energetic
  • Be able to do repetitive bending and lifting without restrictions
  • Enthusiastic and love patients

 


Registered Nurse

An operating room RN is needed for our Ambulatory Surgery Center located in Barrington.

Requirements:

  • Two years of operating room experience required
  • Candidate must be energetic
  • Current Illinois license
  • ACLS certified
  • IV skills needed
  • Enthusiastic and love patients
  • Must be available to work weeknights and weekends

 


Medical Biller

We are seeking a full time/part time biller to join our team at our Elgin location. You will join our team of professionals to insure accurate coding, billing, claims processing and receivable/collection work.

Requirements:

  • Experience in medical billing
  • Interventional pain billing experience is a plus.
  • Proven experience in CPT, ICD-9 and comprehension of ICD-10 coding
  • Candidates will be detail-oriented and possess excellent customer service skills
  • Anesthesia and ASC out-of-network billing is a plus

 


Education Coordinator

We are in need of a dynamic and energetic outside sales/marketing specialist to call on and visit worker’s compensation attorneys, medical and chiropractic physicians, and develop relationships.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of outside sales/marketing experience
  • The ability to connect quickly with offices via telephone to set appointments and maintain relationships face to face
  • Candidate must be high energy, enthusiastic
  • The drive to assist with media outlets and be proactive in developing new marketing strategies
  • Must have a medical background (local physician relationships is preferred)
  • Must work closely with our Marketing Coordinator and Education Coordinator.
  • Be willing to travel frequently with a reliable mode of transportation

 


Administrative Assistant/Personal Secretary

We seek a professional administrative assistant/personal secretary to the Medical Director. In addition to administrative and secretarial tasks, responsibilities will include (but not limited to), bookkeeping, purchasing of medical and office supplies, accounts payable, contract management, office maintenance, etc. This position is located in Elgin.

Requirements:

  • Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Candidate must be detailed oriented/fast paced
  • Must be able to manage and sort priority assignments
  • Working knowledge in all Microsoft Office products as well as Quicken, etc.
  • Must report to the Practice Administrator and the Personal Assistant to the Medical Director
