Medical Biller Requirements

  • Must have proven experience in CPT and ICD-10 knowledge
  • 1+ years of medical billing job experience
  • 1+ years of medical claims processing
  • 1+ years receivable / collection work
  • DME billing experience is a plus
  • 1+ years physician coding
  • Must be detailed oriented and possess excellent customer service skills
  • Submit a cover letter and your current resume demonstrating your medical professional billing experience

Requirements/ Qualifications

  • New graduates of an accredited medical assistant program are encouraged to apply
  • 1+ years of previous Medical Assisting experience (preferred)
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain effective and organized systems to ensure timely patient flow
  • Exceptional customer service and phone etiquette
  • Travel between clinic locations is required

Job Duties

  • Triage patient phone calls
  • Front desk- reception/ scheduling procedures
  • Ensure all related reports, test results and information are filed and available in patient’s medical record prior to their appointment.
  • Obtaining patient history, vitals, review of systems, charting medications and allergies
  • Assist physicians with exams and injections
  • Assist physicians with Interventional Pain Management Procedures
  • Preparing, maintaining and stocking the examination and procedure rooms
  • Complete other comparable duties as directed by the physician or Clinical Supervisor.
